Teen’s Quest for Rare Transplant Match

Kaiya Endo, an 18-year-old woman with a rare blood condition, is searching for a matching bone marrow donor. While the perfect match is out there somewhere, finding it is the biggest challenge due to her unique genetics. She’s part white and part Japanese.
