Former President Donald Trump is set to surrender in Georgia this Thursday to face the next wave of charges, under the conditions he’ll have to pay a $200,000 bond and face some restrictions on his speech.
In other news, The Atlantic claims that the case, along with charges like it, could forbid President Trump from holding office again. The claims are based on shaky legal ground, however, and would ironically backfire on many other elected officials.
