Actress Carla Jeffery, best known for her role in the popular Disney Channel “Zombies” franchise, has died at 33.
Jeffery died on Sept. 1, according to a statement shared by her talent management team on Wednesday.
The Walt Disney Company has sued the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to block the early review of its licenses for eight ABC affiliate stations.
Disney was believed to have demanded higher fees and additional live game broadcasts, but it is unclear whether Comcast agreed to any of those demands.

The Walt Disney Co. is cutting nearly 200 jobs across its ABC News Group and Disney Entertainment Networks unit, representing less than 6 percent of the combined workforce, The Epoch Times has learned.
A Disney spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.
Disney is the parent company of ABC, which said on Sept. 17 it would stop airing "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"

Disney has unveiled another round of price hikes for its Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select streaming services, which are scheduled to take effect on Oct. 21.

“I have asked the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau to open an investigation into Disney and ABC,” Carr wrote in a March 27 letter addressed to Disney CEO Robert Iger.
