On July 20, 1999, FalunGong practitioners in China found themselves the targets for persecution when the CCP deemed Falun Gong's popularity a threat to its rule and banned the practice.
FalunGong, also known as Falun Dafa, is a practice centered around meditation exercises and moral teachings based on truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
He remained hopeful that legislation in support of FalunGong practitioners would move forward.
