The move comes amid growing fear that the Ukraine crisis could be used by the communist regime in China to hasten its designs to seize Taiwan. The regime views the self-ruled island as its own territory to be taken by force if necessary.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP), which has never ruled Taiwan, views the self-governing democracy as a breakaway province and hasn't ruled out the use of force to achieve what it calls “reunification” with the mainland.

Japan’s Preemptive Measure The Taiwan Strait represents another perilous area, prompting Japan to bolster defense capabilities on its southwestern islands.

Tensions over the Taiwan Strait have risen after repeated PLA incursions into Taiwan’s airspace and territorial waters, as well as threats to invade the self-ruled island nation.

“We seek no escalation, nor do antagonize others,” the ministry said on Twitter, adding that the Taiwanese armed forces “are committed” to defending the self-governing island.

The Chinese regime has signaled its intent to seize Taiwan, a self-governing island that Beijing considers part of its territory.

A potential war between the United States and China could happen over Taiwan, if the Chinese Communist Party decides to invade the self-ruled island.

Taiwan's defense ministry said it detected a total of 66 Chinese aircraft and 14 Chinese warships conducting joint naval and air exercises around the Taiwan Strait.

This theory comes as the Chinese communist regime has intensified its effort to change the status quo of the Taiwan Strait by sending increased warplanes to swarm around Taiwan and repeatedly intrude Taiwan's air defense identification zone (ADIZ).

Although Beijing has warned for decades that any attempt by Taiwan to seek “independence” means war, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has never actually governed the self-ruled island.
