With cities such as San Diego reinstating a school mask mandate this summer and Los Angeles bringing back its indoor mask mandate at the end of the month, it's likely that public school enrollment in those cities will continue to decline.

Now it is time to get rid of the mask mandates, and the ability of the CDC to mandate products or massive quarantines ever again. It is time to regain personal freedoms lost.

The Biden administration had doubled down on coercive pandemic policies and added vaccine and mask mandates while issuing wild warnings of mass death for noncompliance.

Head Start previously rescinded its mask mandate after months of lobbying from the nonprofit and others. It had mandated masks for children, workers, and volunteers.

As the arts institutions reopened, there were mask mandates. I simply couldn’t imagine attending a play or concert while wearing a mask. Why pay for such an experience?

There are currently 16 states, as well as the District of Columbia, which have likewise put in place school mask mandates. However, not all rules are created equal. At the Emmy Awards, the only people wearing masks were the hired help.

In September 2020, nearly 200 Christians assembled outside of city hall in Moscow, Idaho, to protest a municipal mask and social distancing mandate.

The new mask mandate for childcare facilities across New York state is effective immediately, Hochul said.

Earlier in January, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the end of some COVID-19-related restrictions in England such as passports, mask mandates, and work restrictions.

Legislation Prohibits Mask Mandates In an Aug. 6 letter to Wilson, South Carolina Senate President Harvey Peeler and South Carolina House Speaker Jay Lucas informed Wilson of the legislature's intent to ban school mask mandates.

Just days before Mizelle ruled that the federal health agency's mask mandate was unlawful, the CDC said it would extend the mask order until early May.
