Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin imposed the COVID-19 vaccinemandate in 2021. While almost all service members received a vaccine, thousands didn't, and more than 8,000 troops were kicked out for noncompliance.

The 30-year veteran pleaded guilty to two counts of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline on Nov. 14 during a court martial in New Westminster, B.C., for having spoken publicly against the mandates.
Malhotra’s Take on Australia’s VaccineMandates
