A Polish restaurant in southern city of Krakow set the Guinness World Record for making the world’s largest lasagna last Wednesday. Weighing 5.29 tons, the lengthy lasagna took 10 hours to bake.

The lasagna was prepared for the Italian national soccer team, which stayed nearby for the European soccer championship. The team, which advanced to the quarterfinals, stayed in Poland until they faced off against England on Sunday.

The lasagna, made by restaurant Trattoria Giancarlo, was divided into 10,000 portions.

“I don’t know about the players or if they will try the lasagna because they are on a diet, but they can try just a little bit,” Trattoria Giancarlo executive chef Giancarlo Russo told Reuters.
