NEW YORK—Using recycled, salvaged, and repurposed materials, Martin Cyran transformed his mother’s former Polish establishment into The Brew Inn, a corner eatery and bar in Greenpoint. The gastropub opens on Nov. 14.

Beer taps double as door handles. Pendant lighting made out of antique picture frames and wire hang from a 100-year-old black tin ceiling.

Cyran is a Greenpoint local who is only hiring Brooklyn residents to support the neighborhood.

Look forward to 30 New York craft beers on tap, and food priced from $3 to $16; beer and wine vary from $6 to $9.

The corner gastropub has a 24-foot long bar constructed out of old glass paned doors, with dark wooden stools, and seats 26.

Amy Cunningham, who has worked with James Beard Award–nominated Yardbird Southern Table & Bar, put together The Brew Inn’s bistro menu.

The menu includes items such as pulled-pork sandwich, shrimp po’ boy, and grilled pierogi.
