Missouri V. Biden Update: RFK Jr. Lawsuit Consolidated, DOJ Claims ‘Irreparable Harm,’ AG to Argue for First Amendment Injunction–Andrew Bailey | ATL:NOW

“The Department of Justice actually had the audacity to argue that the nation would suffer irreparable harm if they weren’t allowed to continue violating Americans’ First Amendment rights. The trial judge saw through that.”

In this episode, I speak with Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey to get an update on the landmark First Amendment case, Missouri v. Biden, which alleges a relationship of coercion and collusion between the White House and an entire spectrum of agencies to silence American voices on social media platforms.

“It’s incredible to read, because what it demonstrates is that [Facebook] knew the Federal Government was asking them to violate the First Amendment,” says General Bailey.

On August 10, the plaintiff will be arguing against the DOJ’s appeal and in support of a nationwide injunction.

“If the government doesn’t like what’s being said, the government can offer counter speech. Nothing in the court order prevents that,” says AG Bailey. “That’s traditionally been the remedy for disfavored speech in this country—not government censorship. Why is government censorship on big tech-social media platforms okay, but not on the radio, television, or print? And why would we want federal bureaucrats determining what is and isn’t misinformation?”
