GOP Rank and File Skepticism Over Ukraine Funding May Be Rooted in Ukraine’s Efforts to Derail Trump | Truth Over News

There are many reasons for last week’s removal of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) as Speaker of the House, ranging from failure to subpoena Hunter Biden to ramming through a budget with the help of Democrats.

Ukraine is also part of that list of reasons, specifically Mr. McCarthy’s continued enthusiasm for funding not only the Ukraine war, but also the salaries and pensions of people in Ukraine. While his stance can be debated, there is one aspect about Ukraine that has left many people skeptical—and especially Trump supporters—yet it is rarely, if ever, mentioned in the context of American politics.

That aspect is the fact that the government of Ukraine—sometimes on its own and sometimes at the behest of the Obama administration—tried to sabotage the Trump presidential campaign in 2016.

We went back and dug up all the various instances of Ukraine trying to sabotage former President Donald Trump—and there are more than a few.
