President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance attended a national prayer service on Tuesday morning to mark their first day in office. The service has been a post-inauguration tradition since President Franklin D. Roosevelt took office.
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) opened her confirmation hearing for the post of U.S. ambassador to the United Nations by pledging to implement Trump’s “America First” mandate and to roll out a review of U.S. funding for some of the U.N.’s agencies.
