Trump to Make ‘Law and Order’ Speech at DOJ; Mehmet Oz Testifies at Confirmation Hearing
President Donald Trump will deliver remarks at the Department of Justice on Friday afternoon to rally support for his administration’s tough-on-crime agenda. “President Trump will visit the Department of Justice to give remarks on restoring law and order, removing violent criminals from our communities, and ending the weaponization of justice against Americans for their political leanings,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.
Dr. Mehmet Oz, Trump’s pick to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, testified on Friday before the Senate Finance Committee.
The Hamas terrorist group said on Friday that it had agreed to free an American-Israeli dual national if Israel begins the next phase of cease-fire talks toward a permanent end to the war, an offer Israel dismissed as “psychological warfare.”
