Webinar Examines Risk of CCP Moving to Kinetic Conflict in 2026

The Committee on the Present Danger: China (CPDC), a Washington-based think tank, holds a webinar at 1 p.m. ET on Dec. 19 titled “2026: The Year the CCP’s Unrestricted/People’s War Goes Kinetic?”

It examines whether Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping views global distractions as an opportunity to escalate from pre-kinetic warfare to open conflict, and what steps should be taken now to prepare for and deter such a scenario.
