President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social on Aug. 21 that he will allow up to 300,000 metric tons of ground beef to be imported with no out-of-quota tariff for 90 days, as he attempts to reduce beef prices for American families.
The U.S. military said on Aug. 20 that eight people were killed when a charter plane crashed at a remote military radar site in western Alaska.
The aircraft was carrying eight people when it crashed near Cape Newenham Long Range Radar Site Airport, about 450 miles west of Anchorage, which is managed by the Pacific Air Forces Regional Support Center, according to the military.
