Israel-Bound Plane Diverts After Suspected Hijacking Attempt; Trump Plans 32 Days of Campaign Travel Before November Elections

A FlyDubai flight carrying Israeli passengers from Dubai to Israel diverted to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday in a suspected hijacking attempt that Israeli security officials said authorities were treating as a terrorist attack.

The airline confirmed that flight FZ 1073, bound for Ben Gurion Airport, experienced an incident and landed safely in Tabuk, in northwestern Saudi Arabia.

President Donald Trump told reporters on Tuesday that he will begin a 32-day tour to support Republican nominees in their campaigns ahead of the Nov. 3 elections, when voters will decide control of the House and Senate.
