FDA Holds Roundtable on Strengthening Blood Manufacturing Supply Chain

The Food and Drug Administration holds a roundtable at 9 a.m. ET on Sept. 29 on strengthening the supply chain for the collection and manufacturing of whole blood, blood components, and source plasma. FDA officials and other stakeholders discuss supply chain challenges and potential solutions to help prevent shortages and ensure a safe and adequate U.S. blood supply.
