Spanish police began installing a floating barrier along Ceuta’s sea border with Morocco on Aug. 1 after an unprecedented mass illegal crossing into the Spanish enclave that left at least 67 people dead, overwhelmed the tiny autonomous city, and renewed fears of uncontrolled migration.

The Michigan Senate Democratic primary will be held on Tuesday, with multiple polls showing that candidate Abdul El-Sayed, who is backed by Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), has a significant edge over Rep. Haley Stevens (D-Mich.).
