At a Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing on “Book Bans: Examining How Censorship Limits Liberty and Literature” on Sept. 12, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) questioned Emily Knox, an associate professor at the University of Illinois, about government censorship of free speech.
