US Energy ‘More Focused on What Is a Pipe Dream’: Sen. Barrasso Grills Energy Official on Biden’s Offshore Drilling Policies

At a Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee hearing on Oct. 26, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) grilled Elizabeth Klein, the director of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management over the Biden administration’s policies on offshore drilling. “The administration’s efforts to choke off new oil and gas lease sales on federal lands and waters, they are bad for our national economic security, they’re bad for the environment,” Mr. Barrasso said.
