‘You Would’ve Thought Donald Trump Delivered That Speech’: Rep. Nehls Reproves Mayorkas With Clinton Speech on Border Protection

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing last week, Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) played a video of former President Bill Clinton speaking about border policies in 1995, and praised Mr. Clinton’s strong stance on securing U.S. borders at the time. Mr. Nehls noted that Mr. Clinton received a standing ovation from both sides of the House for his speech. He then criticized President Joe Biden and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for doing “just the opposite” of their Democratic predecessor.
