Google satellite images might reveal the existence of a secretive hypersonic plane being developed by Lockheed Martin.
According to the Daily Mail, the image was captured via Google Earth View at a location in Florida. The image looks similar to an artist’s impression of the secret aircraft.

The picture was uploaded by UFO theorist Tyler Glockner onto YouTube.
The shape of the craft bears some resemblance to the SR-72 hypersonic plane, which is an upgrade from the SR-71 Blackbird spy plane. The SR-71, which was introduced in 1966 during the height of the Cold War, can reach 2,200 mph.

The SR-72, meanwhile, is a Mach 6+ hypersonic precision bomber that can serve as a spy plane, Nextbigfuture reported.
Jack O’Bannion, VP of Strategy at Skunk Works for Lockheed Martin, recently told a conference that “without digital transformation that aircraft you see there could not have been made,” suggesting that the SR-72 may have been made.

“Talking about speed, you’re talking about hypersonics, aircraft that operate above Mach 5,” O’Bannion said, according to the Daily Mail.
