Two airports in Saudi Arabia were targeted in a new round of attacks on Oct. 11 after a missile killed at least 12 people—including an American—inside a terminal at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday.

The country’s General Authority of Civil Aviation said people were injured on Sunday after a new attack at King Khalid International Airport and a separate attack at the King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, which is nearly 250 miles northeast of the country’s capital city of Riyadh.

The aviation authority did not disclose how many people were injured.

“This attack comes amidst ongoing blatant assaults targeting civil aviation facilities in the Kingdom,” Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation wrote in a statement released by the state-run Saudi Press Agency.

Authorities are assessing the damage from the recent attacks.

At least 12 people were killed in a terror attack on Oct. 10 inside a passenger terminal at the King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

Victims of Saturday’s attack included four Saudi citizens, two residents from Bangladesh, one American, one Egyptian, one Jordanian, one Syrian, one Palestinian, and one Sudanese.

The attack injured at least 309 others, with some in critical condition.

“May Allah bestow His mercy upon those who lost their lives and grant the injured a speedy recovery,” a statement from the Saudi Press Agency reads.

Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthi terrorist group claimed responsibility for Saturday’s strike.

This is a developing story and will be updated.
