Accused Colorado mass shooter James Homes reportedly got six deliveries of ammo from an online vendor, it was reported Wednesday.
Citing search warrants, the Denver Post reported that Holmes got ammo and other packages sent to this apartment before he allegedly shot up an Aurora, Colo., movie theater, killing 12 people and wounding dozens.
Holmes placed six orders with BulkAmmo.com and received packages via FedEx, according to the paper.
In another document obtained by the Post, Holmes got 10 deliveries from FedEx to his apartment between February and July of last year.
The Post reported that detectives looked into Holmes’ shipping and delivery records to find purchases ammo, weapons, body armor, explosives, and other items that could incriminate him. They also looked at his iPod Touch and bank accounts.
Holmes was charged with 166 counts of murder, attempted murder, or related charges stemming from the July 20 incident.
He also carried a platinum MasterCard and photographed the door of the Aurora movie theater before the attack, reported The Associated Press.
Holmes is seeking to plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
