Sen. Kennedy Grills Climate Adaptation Scholar on His Double Standard Over Fossil Fuel Company Donations

During a Senate Budget Committee hearing on “The Fiscal Consequences of Climate Change on Infrastructure” last week, Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) grilled Tulane University climate adaptation scholar Jesse M. Keenan about his university getting money from fossil fuel companies, citing a letter Mr. Keenan signed demanding that elite institutions and universities stop accepting research funding from the industry.
