NYC Mayor Demands Federal Money to Deal With Immigration Crisis, Promises to ‘Do More’ to Accommodate Asylum Seekers

New York City Mayor Eric Adams took to the podium on Wednesday claiming sanctuary city New York is unable to handle the heavy influx of immigrants under current Biden administration border policy. He pleaded for more federal money, and demanded the rest of the state share the burden. Meanwhile, Mr. Adams promised to do more to accommodate asylum seekers in the city.
