Former Trump Lawyer John Eastman Surrenders in Georgia Election Indictment, Reiterates Opinion on Election

John Eastman, a former lawyer of former President Donald Trump, surrendered on Tuesday to authorities in Fulton County after his indictment in the 2020 Georgia election probe, and reiterated his opinion on the 2020 election after being booked at Fulton County jail. When asked if he regretted attaching his name to President Trump, Mr. Eastman said, “None whatsoever. The president calls and asks for representation, I think every citizen in my position should be willing to stand up for representation.”
