Rep. Foxx Accuses Clinton Global Initiative of ‘Blatant Corruption and Influence Peddling’

On a House floor debate on Sept. 28, Reps. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) and Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) argued over an amendment that the former offered to prohibit the State Department from using taxpayer funds to send employees to any event or conference hosted by the Clinton Global Initiative. “The Clinton Global Initiative has engaged in blatant corruption and influence peddling that would make even Hunter Biden blush,” Ms. Foxx reasoned.
