Sen. Hawley Confronts Refugee Resettlement Official, Accuses Biden Admin of Releasing Illegal Immigrant Children ‘To Traffickers’

During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on unaccompanied minors at the border on Oct. 25, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) grilled Robin Dunn Marcos, director of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), over the office’s lack of vetting of and following up on the adopting families after hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrant children were released. “Do you think that this is acceptable to run ORR like an assembly line, and to release these children to traffickers?” Mr. Hawley asked.
