Trump heads to Kansas to Stump for Sen. Marshall; Musk Pledges to Give a Share of His SpaceX Company to ‘Every Kid in America’
President Donald Trump is heading to Kansas as part of his midterm campaign blitz. Trump won in Kansas by 16 percentage points against Democrat Kamala Harris in 2024. Republican Sen. Roger Marshall faces a tough challenge from Democrat Adam Hamilton. Democrats have not won a Senate election in Kansas in 94 years.
Elon Musk on Monday pledged to give one share of his company SpaceX to “every kid in America” next year. The offer arrived a day after artificial intelligence company Anthropic announced in a social media post that it will commit 5 percent of its shares to a new “public benefit” fund. In a response to that Sunday post, Musk wrote, “I recommend giving the shares directly to the public.”
