NTD News Today (Dec. 2): Arizona County Ordered to Certify Election Results; Biden Signs Bill Averting Rail Strike

In Cochise County, Arizona’s board of supervisors certified their jurisdiction’s midterm election results on Dec. 1, at the order of a judge three days after they missed the statutory deadline of Nov. 28.

President Joe Biden signed legislation on Dec. 2 to avert a nationwide railway shutdown, preventing what would have been a reality as early as next week.

President Biden admitted to some “glitches” in the Inflation Reduction Act after criticism from French President Emmanuel Macron. But Biden said he makes no apologies for the law.
