The U.S. House of Representatives plans to vote Wednesday on the SAVE Act, a bill banning non-citizens from voting in federal elections. It mandates proof of U.S. citizenship during voter registration and seeks to remove noncitizens from voter rolls.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has assured Ukraine that it will be allowed to join NATO—but only after its war with Russia ends. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said member states are expected to agree on a “substantial” package for Ukraine during the NATO summit in Washington.
