Rep. Hageman Confronts DHS Sec. Mayorkas on Biden Admin’s ‘Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program’

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing on July 26, Rep. Harriet M. Hageman (R-Wyo.) grilled Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas on the Biden administration’s Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention Grant Program—with Ms. Hageman claiming the program “is funding groups targeting conservatives, and equating them to domestic terrorists.” Ms. Hageman also accused Mr. Mayorkas of lying in his testimony to the Committee. “We know you’ve lied, you know you’ve lied,” she declared. In reply, Mr. Mayorkas declared her accusations to be false.
