Several people had traveled to the area on Thursday donning gear typically worn by Antifa members. Bellingham is a city of some 88,000 about 88 miles north of Seattle, a primary hub of Antifa groups.

The videos came after a Project Veritas operative appeared to infiltrate Rose City Antifa in Portland, Oregon, one of the most prominent Antifa cells in the country.

In an op-ed in The New York Post, journalist and Antifa expert Andy Ngo wrote: "Some believe Antifa would fade away after Biden’s electoral win. They’re wrong.

The video showed that Gipe had an Antifa flag and a poster of Mao Zedong, a Chinese communist dictator, in his classroom.

The senators proposed the resolution following Antifa members’ assault on independent journalist Andy Ngo, who is known for extensively documenting Antifa violence.
