Japan Earthquake Causes Mass Destruction (Photos)

A giant 8.9-magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami struck Japan Friday afternoon, local time. Fires have broken out in different parts of Japan, roads have utterly collapsed, and people’s belongings have washed away. Thousands of people are feared dead with over 88,000 people currently counted as missing, according to Japan’s Kyodo News agency.
