At least five people have been reported stabbed Rutgers Business School in New Jersey and a suspect is in custody.
The university sent out an alert at around 3 p.m. Friday, saying there had been a stabbing at the business school in New Brunswick and telling people to avoid the area and take shelter. About a half-hour later, the school sent another alert saying a suspect was in custody and the area was safe.
A school spokesman says it has no additional details.
CBS New York reported that five people were stabbed on the campus. Their conditions are unknown.

At around 2:45 p.m., the school tweeted telling students to avoid the area and take shelter. The school tweeted: “Actor in custody. Area is safe. Police investigation ongoing.”
