Typhoon Hagupit made landfall at Leqing City in Eastern China’s Zhejiang Province around 3:30 a.m. on Aug. 4. Many roads were sealed off. Amid the heavy rains and wind, trees were toppled, billboards fell down, and cars were smashed by falling objects. Many streets were submerged in water. Public transportation has been suspended in several cities.
