Actor Lorenzo Lamas is among those publicly expressing admiration for Erika Kirk, widow of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, after the conservative commentator’s assassination earlier this month.

Speaking in an emotional interview with Fox News, the 67-year-old described Erika Kirk’s response to her husband’s death as extraordinary. He called her “an example of what truth and faith is encompassed in a human form.”

“I have so much respect for her,” Lamas said, fighting back tears. “It’s beyond anything that I’ve witnessed in my 67 years of being on this planet. The absolute grace and intelligence. Forgiveness, which all comes from that moral compass, from that faith, from that understanding that no matter what happens in our life, we can give it to God.”

Best known for his roles in TV series “Falcon Crest” and “Renegade,” Lamas said Erika Kirk’s composure and resilience set her apart. “She’s a star,” he remarked. “She’s done more than I could ever imagine a human being able to do.”

The actor’s comments came days after tens of thousands gathered to honor Charlie Kirk’s life. On Sept. 21, a memorial service was held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Family members, faith leaders, and political figures addressed the crowd, remembering him as a devoted husband, father, and outspoken champion of Christian and conservative values.

His widow delivered a moving tribute centered on her husband’s faith and the spiritual call to forgiveness.

“The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the Gospel is love—always love. Love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us,” she said, urging those present to honor her husband’s legacy by living courageously in faith.

Charlie Kirk, 31, was killed on Sept. 10 while speaking to students at Utah Valley University. Authorities arrested a 22-year-old suspect, Tyler Robinson, in connection with the shooting, and prosecutors have filed multiple charges including aggravated murder, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering. The investigation remains ongoing.

Cofounder of Turning Point USA in 2012 at just 18 years old, Charlie Kirk had become one of the most visible political voices nationwide. His death leaves behind his wife and the couple’s two young children—a daughter and a son.

Lamas, whose career spans more than five decades, starred as Lance Cumson on the prime-time soap “Falcon Crest” in the 1980s and Reno Raines in the 1990s action series “Renegade.” He has also appeared in numerous films, stage productions, and reality shows.

For Lamas, however, Charlie Kirk’s impact goes beyond politics or fame. “His legacy will grow. His passion for truth will resonate for generations. You had a great man, and we will honor him for the rest of our life. That’s my hope and my belief,” he said.
