Disney-focused content creator and travel consultant Keeley Whitcomb is grieving the loss of her two children following a car crash in Nebraska that also left her husband hospitalized in intensive care.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office stated that the accident happened on Sept. 15 around 4:45 p.m. at a rural intersection southeast of Hastings, Nebraska, just over 100 miles west of the state capital of Lincoln, according to NTV News.

A pickup truck driven eastbound by Whitcomb’s husband, 33-year-old Blake Whitcomb, collided with a northbound farm silage truck operated by 66-year-old Dale Feik of Harvard. Both drivers were taken to Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

The passengers included two children riding in the pickup, ages 7 and 10, who were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have said alcohol is not suspected, and it’s unclear whether restraints were in use. The Nebraska State Patrol is conducting an accident reconstruction, and multiple fire and rescue agencies assisted at the crash site.

The Whitcombs are based in Nebraska, where the accident took place.

At this time, there have been no reports indicating that Whitcomb was in the vehicle when the crash occurred. Less than an hour before the accident, she posted a TikTok video discussing Hollywood Studios.

Whitcomb, who frequently shared Disney-related content with her followers and worked as a travel agent for Dreams Travel Consulting, announced the devastating news in a message to her online community.

Over a photo of herself posted to TikTok, she wrote: “To my friends who follow me: yesterday was the worst day of my life. An accident has taken my two eldest children from me, and put my husband in the intensive care unit. Consider me out of the Disney office.”

She later honored each child in separate posts. Remembering her daughter, Laynee Rae, she wrote alongside photos: “10 years was not long enough for me.”

“Forever on my mind, my Laynee Rae. 9/15/2025,” Whitcomb wrote in the caption.

In another tribute to her stepson Ryder, she reflected on the bond they shared: “Once upon a time, I met a boy. I fell in love with him the moment I met him. Though I didn’t know him all his life, I got to love him for 3 years.”

“Being a step-parent is a whole different kind of love. 9/15/2025,” she captioned the post.

Other family members also shared tributes, including Ryder’s grandmother, Cheryl Gardner, who wrote on Facebook: “We lost our beautiful Ryder in a tragic car accident yesterday along with his stepsister Laynee.  Two families that are completely heartbroken and devastated.  Please pray for our children’s souls and hold your babies close always.”

Whitcomb has built a following online through her Disney-themed content and her work helping families plan Disney vacations. The tragedy has drawn attention and sympathy from her community of followers, many of whom have expressed condolences across social media.

The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
