More than a decade after releasing her last studio album, actress and pop singer Hilary Duff is poised to make her return to the stage after inking a deal with Atlantic Records.

“Wake up… @hilaryduff is officially a part of the AMG family,” the record label announced in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “We could not be more excited for this journey & for new music… or something.”

Duff, 37, rose to fame in the early aughts as the star of Disney Channel’s hit show “Lizzie McGuire,” which aired from 2001 to 2004.

She made her foray into the music scene at the age of 15, releasing her 2002 holiday-themed debut studio album “Santa Claus Lane” with Buena Vista Records.

Subsequent albums included “Metamorphosis” (2003), “Hilary Duff” (2004), “Dignity” (2007), and “Breathe In. Breathe Out.” (2015), which marked her fifth and final record.

The singer, known for her chart-topping hits such as “Come Clean,” “Wake Up,” and “Sparks,” shifted gears over the past decade to focus on her acting career. Most notably, she starred in the comedy-drama series “Younger” from 2015 to 2021 and the sitcom “How I Met Your Father” from 2022 to 2023.

The actress’s music comeback will be featured in a forthcoming docuseries, directed and executive-produced by Sam Wrench, known for his work on the 2023 concert documentary “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour.”

The new docuseries will chronicle Duff’s “long-awaited musical return and personal journey, offering an unfiltered vignette into Hilary’s world,” a press release reads, as reported by Us Weekly.

“Embracing the ups, downs, and everything in between, fans will ride shotgun as she balances raising a family, recording new music, live show rehearsals and preparing to perform on stage for the first time in over a decade,” the release notes.

Duff welcomed a son, Luca, with her now ex-husband, former professional hockey player Mike Comrie, in 2012. She also has three daughters—Banks, 6; Mae, 4; and Townes, 1—with her current husband, musician Matthew Koma, whom she married in 2019.

Duff took to Instagram on Aug. 27 to reflect on her early years in the music business, sharing a carousel of photos taken during that time.

“I do know this marker of time was a huge change in my being. I was embarking on something I had no idea would make such an impact on peoples lives, and mine,” the actress wrote.

“I remember some of my first shows being in a skate park in San Jose, and very shortly after, stepping out on stage in arenas. Yesterday marked the 22nd anniversary of Metamorphosis… Although these are distant memories for me, thank you for showing up the way that you did.”
