Misse Beqiri is mourning the death of her former fiancé, Jake Hall, saying in a public statement that her “heart is shattered” following the reality television star’s death at 35.
Hall died May 6 while vacationing in Mallorca, Spain. Local outlets, including the Majorca Daily Bulletin and Ultima Hora, reported that Hall was found at a villa with serious head injuries and wounds caused by shattered glass after an apparent accident involving a glass door.
In a statement shared on Instagram on May 9, Beqiri described the grief of losing Hall and reflected on the life they built together as co-parents to their 8-year-old daughter, River.
“I never thought I would ever have to write this, and the pain of even putting these words down feels unbearable,” Beqiri wrote at the start of the tribute.
She said Hall’s death had left both her and their daughter devastated.
“There was no way you were ever supposed to go,” she wrote. “My heart is shattered, and so is our daughter’s.”
Throughout the post, Beqiri remembered Hall as someone whose personality and energy deeply affected the people around him. She praised his creativity, love of music, and warmth.
“You lit up every room you walked into — your smile, your charm, your energy that filled the air,” she wrote. “You were so deeply loved by so many people.”
Beqiri also shared personal memories from their relationship, including joking about Hall’s habit of trying to stop her from taking naps, which she said still makes her smile.
The reality television personality said she fell in love with Hall immediately and credited him with helping create “the most beautiful girl,” referring to their daughter.
“Your love for her was so strong it almost scared me, because I knew you would go to the ends of the earth for her,” she wrote, adding that River “adored” her father and considered him her “favorite person.”
Beqiri vowed to continue caring for their daughter while preserving Hall’s memory.
“You will be missed,” she wrote. “I promise to keep River safe, loved, and wrapped in the kind of love you gave so effortlessly.”
The post concluded with Beqiri saying Hall would continue to live on through their daughter and remain part of their family forever.
Hall became known through appearances on “The Only Way Is Essex” before later working in art and fashion. Beqiri rose to prominence on Bravo’s “Ladies of London.” In addition to River, Beqiri has a son from her previous marriage to former soccer player Anders Lindegaard.
