President Donald Trump on Monday moved to withdraw his $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS over the leak of his tax returns after reports that a resolution of the case was close at hand. The disclosure was made in a federal court filing in Florida, where the lawsuit was filed.

Fighting for his political survival amid Trump’s push to remove him from Congress, libertarian Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) took the stage at a weekend campaign rally and proclaimed that his gathering on Tuesday would be “a victory party” and an opportunity to continue working with the president.
