Darline Graham Seeks Full Senate Term; Trump to Attend Dignified Transfer of Killed US Soldiers | NTD Good Morning (July 21)

Sen. Darline Graham announced that she will be running for the late Lindsey Graham’s Senate seat in November, after being appointed last week to serve out the remainder of his term. A special primary will take place on Aug. 11 to determine who will hold the seat for the upcoming six-year term. President Donald Trump said that Graham has his “complete and total endorsement.”

The War Department identified the two killed in Jordan as 25-year-old 1st Lt. Tyler Feehan of Hawaii and 19-year-old Pvt. Isabella Gonzales of Texas. The White House says Trump will attend the dignified transfer of the U.S. service members at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.

Trump is implementing new tariffs on Canada, signing three proclamations that impose a 50 percent tariff on a range of Canadian products, including dairy, alcohol, auto-related goods, cement, and even hockey sticks. The White House says Trump is taking action to hold Canada accountable for its unequal treatment of U.S. commerce.
