Team USA Advances to the World Cup Round of 16; NYC Prepares for Busy 4th of July Weekend | NTD Good Morning (July 2)

The U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team is heading to the round of 16 after a dramatic 2–0 victory against Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is their first knockout round victory since 2002. Folarin Balogun opened the scoring before being sent off with a red card. Despite the disadvantage, Malik Tillman sealed the victory with a free kick in the 82nd minute. Team USA will now face Belgium in Seattle on July 6th for a place in the World Cup quarterfinals.

The talks build on a ceasefire earlier this year and follow the Lake Lucerne Summit held in Switzerland in June.
