Catastrophic floods in Nepal have killed hundreds of people, with the death toll rising. Nearly 1,500 people are confirmed missing from more than 30 countries. Search teams, medical personnel, rescue dogs, and drones have been deployed across the affected areas. Authorities warned that additional flash flooding, mudslides, and landslides are possible.

Meta Platforms on Wednesday reached a historic multibillion-dollar settlement with 47 U.S. states, territories, and the District of Columbia, agreeing to overhaul its services after accusations of endangering and addicting children. The proposed settlement still requires court approval.

President Donald Trump is taking temporary action to increase beef imports, as U.S. supplies remain tight and ground beef prices stay high. The move will allow more lean beef trimmings into the country at lower tariff rates for the next 90 days. The White House says the additional imports could increase the overall beef supply by roughly 10 percent above current projections.
