China Insider: Missing Chinese Lawyer Wins Women of Courage Award

On March 8, International Women’s Day, the U.S. Department of State presented The International Women of Courage Award to women around the world who have demonstrated outstanding courage and leadership in advocating for peace, justice, and human rights. Chinese human rights lawyer Wang Yu, acclaimed as the “Bravest Female Lawyer in China” by rights activists, is one of the winners.
