Dubbed the “Freedom Convoy,” trucks began arriving in Ottawa on Jan. 28 and 29 to stage a protestagainst federal COVID-19 vaccinemandates for truckers travelling between Canada and the United States.

To be fair, this is not a new situation.
The report came after Smith clarified previous comments she had made at different times to prosecutors on their approach to cases related to the protestsagainst federal COVID-19 vaccinationmandates and other restrictions.

On Feb. 5, a towing company in Ottawa took to Twitter to express its support for the truckers who are protesting in the city against COVID-19 vaccinemandates and restrictions.

The protest was started by truckers opposed to COVID-19 vaccinationmandates for cross-border travel, but has since evolved into a major movement against all COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

While some media outlets have attempted to characterize the demonstrations as "anti-vaccine," many protesters have said they're againstvaccine passports and mandates, not the vaccines themselves.
