Right-Wing Commentator Milo Yiannopoulos Deported to UK After ICE Arrest

Right-wing commentator Milo Yiannopoulos was deported to the United Kingdom one day after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport in New Orleans.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said the media personality was shipped back to the UK on Aug. 28 after he overstayed his visa.

The Epoch Times contacted the Department of Homeland Security and Yiannopoulos for additional information.

Yiannopoulos entered the United States legally in May 2019 but stayed in America longer than he should have and ditched an immigration hearing this summer, prompting an immigration judge to issue a final order of removal on July 22.

Yiannopoulos has been a fierce supporter of stricter immigration policies and mass deportations.

“Zero immigration for the next 20 years,” Yiannopoulos wrote in a December 2024 X post. “No ifs, no buts.”

In June 2025, he wrote a social media post saying people needed to insist that the Trump administration “deport millions and millions and millions of people.”

“Without that, nothing else matters,” he said.
