Australian Flags At Half-Mast In Honour Of Victims

In a national sign of mourning, flags at government buildings and on the Sydney Harbour Bridge are flying at half-mast.

“We grieve together, as one,” said Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in a post on X (formally Twitter).

This morning across Australia, flags are flying half-mast in honour of the victims of the Bondi Junction attack.

We grieve together, as one.

“Our community is in mourning, but know that you are not alone,” wrote NSW Premier Chris Minns. “We will emerge from this tragedy united.”

Today the flags on the Sydney Harbour Bridge are at half mast.

Flags on Queensland government buildings are also flying at half-mast in solidarity with “everyone affected,” Queensland Premier Steven Miles said.

Victorian Senator Raff Ciccone expressed his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

Today, flags across Australia are flying at half-mast to honour the victims of the tragic events at Bondi Junction at the request of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
