BRISBANE, Australia—Conservative-leaning One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson will implement a Royal Commission into Net Zero if her party wins power at the next federal election.

Senator Hanson made the comments to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) Australia in Brisbane on Oct. 10.

“We will drag every corrupt contract into the open. Every dirty arrangement with a foreign company will be exposed,” Hanson said.

“Every secret meeting behind closed doors will be revealed, and every dollar taken away from taxpayers that left power bills higher will be accounted for,” she added.

“Every decision the uniparty has made to sell our country out will be exposed.”

Hanson also pledged to scrap the office of the eSafety Commissioner arguing against its role in monitoring online content.

“Free speech is the freedom everyone and every other freedom depends on. Lose it, and you lose the lot. Right now, an unelected bureaucrat in Canberra decides what Australians are allowed to say online,” Hanson said.

The One Nation leader also pledged to work with the centre right Liberal and National parties, saying it is “what the people want.”

“It’s the will of the people. That’s what I stand for. I know what it means to put personal history aside and turn the other cheek,” she said, alluding to her imprisonment during her early political careers.

Hanson also issued a plea to Australians deciding whether to close their business or relocate overseas in response to the current tough economic conditions.

“Some of you are thinking about closing your business. Some are thinking about taking your skills overseas, and some are giving up on this country. Please don’t. I understand why you feel that way, but I want you to have a future here. We need your ideas, your skills, your willingness to have a go.”

United Arab Emirates-developer BNW Developments has opened an office in Sydney to field interest from Australians looking diversify their investments to the Middle East.

The One Nation leader’s speech was preceded by Coalition Leader Angus Taylor who also apologised for his party’s past decision to sign up to net zero and continuing a high migration policy.
